TELFORD -- The players of dcp theatre, formerly Dutch Country Players, present one of the most popular Broadway musicals ever written.
“Hello, Dolly!”at 8 p.m. Saturday Oct. 30 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the playhouse, located on Ridge Road near Telford. Weekend shows will continue through Nov. 21.
Kelly Germann will appear in the title role, reprising her 1987 performance as a senior at Quakertown Senior High School.

POTTSTOWN -- The Mélange Contemporary Dance Company returns to the Tri-County Performing Arts Center, 245 E. High St.,this weekend.
The troupe, founded by artistic director Michelle Jones Wurtz, will feature pieces developed for and performed at The International Dance Festival in Ladek Zdroj, Poland, one of the oldest spa towns in Europe.
Mélange was a headlining group for the festival. Pottstown shows will continue Saturday Oct. 30 and Sunday Oct. 31.

BOYERTOWN -- Pat O’Neill, a 2008 graduate of Boyertown Area High School, will appear in the lead role in a Penn State Berks production of “Medea,” opening Thursday at the Berks County campus.
Performances are scheduled at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and Nov. 6, 11, 12 and 13 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 14.

READING -- Celebrating “Women in Film” and local female film professionals, the Berks Arts Council recently announced a lineup of special guests for its fifth annual Greater Reading Film Festival, beginning on Friday and continuing through Nov. 14 at the R/C Movies 11 and IMAX, 30 N. Second St.
Actress and former Berks County resident Kelly McGillis will open the festival with a special celebration planned in conjunction with Berks Women in Crisis at the Cohen Gallery, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, 201 Washington St. A screening of “The Accused” will follow at 7 p.m.
McGillis will also attend a 25th anniversary showing of “Witness: at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6. Actress and Berks native Lisa Eichhorn will join McGillis and other film professionals for a “Women in Film” symposium at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Eichhorn’s films take center stage during the festival’s second weekend, with a screening of “A Modern Affair” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 13. A showing of “...Around” at 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 will conclude the festival.

POTTSTOWN -- “Thirteen Things about Ed Carpolotti,” a dinner and theater performance featuring local entertainer Nancy Dolan, will be presented on Nov. 6 at the Elks Home, 61 E. High St.
A 5 p.m. cocktail hour will be followed by the dinner and show. Cost is $35 per person. Reservations are available at 484-374-9409.
